DELF / DALF

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) exams are official diplomas awarded by France’s Ministry of Education and France Education International to certify the language skills of persons who have French as a second language.

They assess a candidate’s reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French based on the six competency levels identified within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

Before proceeding to your registration, please read carefully the Terms & conditions for DELF-DALF exams below.

The DELF Prim is aimed at children in elementary school, between the ages of
7 and 12. It certifies beginners levels : A1.1, A1
and A2.

The tests are designed on the same model as the adult version of the DELF, but
themes are adapted to young learners who are learning French as a foreign or second language.

The DELF Junior is aimed at teenagers in secondary school, between the ages of
12 and 18. It certifies beginners and intermediate levels : A1, A2, B1 and B2.

It is also designed on the same model as the adult version of the DELF, however subjects adapt to contexts of the personal and
educational life of teenagers.

The DELF Tout Public and the DALF are exams aimed at adults. The DELF Tout
Public certifies beginners and intermediate levels from A1 to B2, and the DALF certifies advanced levels, C1 and C2.

PrepMyDELF is a 100% online self-learning platform that allows you to practice wherever you are and at your own pace. It is a very intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Please note that PrepMyDELF is only available for levels B1 and B2.

The DELF exam is composed of three collective sections (oral comprehension, written comprehension, and written expression) and one individual one (oral expression). To help you prepare properly for the exam, you will have access to training exercises for all the different sections on our platform!

These preparations to the new format DELF B1 and B2 originates from a collaboration between the Alliance Française de Paris and PrepMyFuture, a French company which has accompanied more than 200,000 students since 2011.

It includes:

• 3 timed mock exams to simulate exam's conditions.
